What this is

carry.coach is a fan-made companion for Counter-Strike 2: it compiles a public “file” on a player — stats, peer reputation, playstyle, ban history — so you can tell who you are queueing with. It is a hobby project, not a business, and it is not affiliated with Valve, Steam or Leetify.

┤ we never ask for credentials ├

Signing in uses Valve's own Steam OpenID, on steamcommunity.com. We never see, store or ask for your Steam password, and we never ask for an API key, a trade link or mobile-authenticator access. Nothing on this site will ever ask you for a password.

Linking match history is optional and uses the game's own authentication code, which only grants read access to your own match list. You can unlink it at any time from settings.

┤ why steamcommunity.cc exists ├

The quickest way to open a player's file is to take the Steam profile URL you are already looking at and change .com to .cc. That domain does one thing: it redirects to carry.coach, preserving the path. It hosts no content, no forms and no login.

We know the shape of that is also the shape of a phishing typosquat, and at least one antivirus vendor has flagged it for exactly that reason. Hence this page. carry.coach is the canonical address — if you would rather never touch the lookalike domain, you never have to.

┤ where the data comes from ├
  • Valve's public Web API — profile, account age, lifetime CS2 stats, VAC and game-ban status. Public data about public profiles.
  • Leetify's public API — recent match summaries and maps, where that player has a Leetify account.
  • Match history you link yourself — and, as a consequence, the rosters of matches you played in. If your teammate links their history, matches you shared appear on your file too.
  • Other players — preset peer tags, ratings and reports, always weighted and never anonymous to us.

If your Steam profile is private, most of this is simply unavailable and your file stays thin. That is working as intended.

┤ what we refuse to do ├
  • No demo parsing for accusations. We do not download and dissect your matches to label you a cheater. Valve's verdict is the only one we report as fact.
  • No chat logs. Ever. What people said in a match is not ours to publish.
  • No free text. Every rating, tag and report is chosen from a fixed list, which makes targeted abuse structurally impossible rather than merely against the rules.
  • No selling data. There are no ads, no trackers beyond first-party page analytics, and nothing is sold or shared.
┤ corrections and takedowns ├

If something on your file is wrong, or you want it removed, say so and we will fix it. The fastest route is a report from the profile itself; for anything else — including security findings — see /.well-known/security.txt.

Ban predictions and reports stay private until Valve acts, by design: an unproven accusation should not be publishable.
